I once read, “adversity has the effect of eliciting talents, which in prosperous circumstances would have lain dormant”.  Unfortunately, the adversity I speak of has been created by decisions I have made with no real focus, nor purpose of self-betterment.  I was living in the moment.

However, due to the adversity I have a clearer understanding of who I am, the things I value and of who I want to become.  I now place more value on my faith, my family and education.  I am determined to improve my quality of life, and the lives of others by utilizing my bachelors degree in liberal arts.

All that is good in me is guided by the eternal light the lord has paved before me.  Without the lords unwavering love & patience, I would not be on the path I am on today, nor would I reach the heights I will be at tomorrow.  My family, plus the additions I intend to make to it, is the fuel that propels me towards becoming an overall better man.  

In route to becoming this better man, I look forward to meeting the women I will forever cherish as my partner, lover and best friend!  The woman who understands the importance of creating a healthy relationship that is sustained by faith, loyalty, and transparency.  I anticipate holding meaningful conversations as we plan for our future.  As I long to share my dreams with one who simply enjoys life.
